ARMANDO
Originally from Colombia and raised in Florida, USA, Armando has called Belgium home since 2009. After earning an MBA and building a successful career in digital technology, he returned to his lifelong passion for movement, coaching, and personal development.
For the past five years, he has taught both group and private classes in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin, Yin Yang, Hatha, Hatha Flow, and Arm Balances. He is also a lead instructor for 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainings and a YACEP continuing education provider.
A lifelong athlete, Armando’s background includes martial arts, strength training, HYROX, and yoga. His teaching style blends focus, discipline, and mindful movement, creating classes that are both challenging and accessible. Curious, supportive, and growth oriented, he is passionate about helping people move better, build confidence, and enjoy a lifetime of health and adventure through movement.

At Animo, I regularly practice Perform, Train, and Run so that I can remain in shape for Hyrox competitions. This also keeps me in shape for my other action-adventure sports.
